Thanks, Mariuca. It was a lucky chance, I don't think running on wrapped hay is common!
I still remember the days of "unwrapped" haystacks in the barn, I used to do "salto mortales" from the barn beams onto the hay below when I was a child :) And I remember the smell of cut grass that I still like.
