Just as it started to rain I found this mushroom and picked it (gambling that it wasnt poisonous) and placed it on this old trunk I'd just photographed for a texture.
It's growing on me but not sure how it will be received here.

the mushroom and the texture of the wood make for a great image. I think the cropping could be scaled down or else there's too much going on. seems over sharpened?
Love this low to the ground view, where one does feel tiny like an ant looking up at the majestic world of mushroom, moss, trees and leaves. Akin to Journey to the Center of the Earth where mushrooms were as massively tall as trees. Great perspective and love the details I can see under the mushroom!
I really like this one, it is dramatic in a subtle way. Instantly comes to mind is Fae size land. Love the meatiness of the mushroom and the almost hard looking bark of it's stem. The green/yellows are spot on. Even with that round dash of over blown sky the whiteness really adds to the scene. How you got 35 points focus all across the photo is brilliant, it draws your eye. I am really enjoying looking at something so simple, but brilliant. Love this totally.
