Very sharp, well contrasted shot. Pretty model! Nice framing. Challenge aspect - I'm not certain I get it....viewing up at her?? (let's just not push this too much, I'll give you back the point I took away for my not understanding!) 8 Swash
Wow... this photo is beautiful. I'm not sure that it really displays "regret", as the title suggests. But it's a really gorgeous work of art. The branches from the tree, the window, and its reflections are great elements of the image even though the shallow DOF places them firmly in the background and leads you right to the woman's face. The camera angle on her face is gorgeous. The only problem I have is that the darkness of her clothing makes it hard to interpret. Is it a big turtleneck sweater? Her neck has disappeared into a black hole. I still like it though. For some reason it has a kind of 60s feel to it.
The eaxpression is great but it is too dark on her. To me the out of focus window really has no place in the photo. She is the photo, in my opinion. But the twig touching her forhead is very detracting and would be especially if your cropped the window out. I still think she and her expression is your photo.
Am unclear a bit how this meets the perspective challenge. Nice photo. Wish the girl's neck wasn't covered up so much. Like the angle of the shot and use of dof.
I love the composition on this... I don't know how dark her skin really is but it looks quite dark... the clarity of this shot is most excellent... great shallow depth of field as well.. nice shot :) - setzler
A fine shot, and the graphic structure of the arch/ window is mirrored well in her face/ hair. The tree complicates and detracts a bit from this symmetry though. Has potential
