yes, these were overripe and rather small. so we haven't et any yet.

Well, you learn something new everyday. I enjoyed looking at your photo thinking they where Heirloom Tomatoes, didn't knock off any points, but went out that day and bought some and had them for lunch with cheese, balsamic and mozzarella. So that should add a point or two onto you score in my mind. Now I have to go and find these eggplants, but not the ripe ones. Wish me luck!
