shot outside with natural light on a towel for shadow diffusion and a little something different from the standard plain white background. burned the eyes/smile a bit more for emphasis. cloned some scratches out on the clock, contrast adjustment, added border. the end.

Cute idea. I think I would have liked a slightly more straight-on angle looking at the face a bit more. Colors are great and I think you made a good choice of the background, though it seemed to get mixed reviews. I also like the border.
Cute shot, simple low tech device. I like the high key here, and the angle. I am more mixed about the foreground texture--is this sitting on a bedspread?
OK. There's a hot debate running in the forums about what exactly is "electronic".
I have decided to subtract only one point for items I believe to be electronic, rahter than the hard-line "1" I originally issued for such items. This is far more fair and reasonable.
In this case, you claim via E-mail that this clock is in fact wind-up. I will have to take your word for it and have voted accordingly.
I love the colors and the border works nice with this. I think if you used a white piece of paper and not carpet for the b/g it would have been better. I think the lines take away from it.
