Neat structure! Challenge well met. I like foreground "stuff" in landscape shots, this is no exception. Color - blue seems a tad grey (what time of day was it?), but otherwise,really nice. Framing - I dunno, it works for me! 8 Swash
The composition of this is awkward. Having something come right from the corner is generally a no-no, unless you have a really good reason to break that rule. The colours seem a bit greyish and the monument is overexposed at the top. There are a lot of photos similar to this one in the challenge, so it's hard not to compare them and see that yours is lacking a little bit in colour and composition.
Strongly graphic, I wish the trees were not there. The whisp of cloud, the blue sky and the red pillar would have been great, alone. The trees bring it back to reality and restore the sense of scale, which I don't know that this needs, though normally it is a good (albeit a bit cliched) way to fill in some boring sky.
