I like this shot.. The color of course draws me, but the void of "what am I walking down and into" is great. I might have used just a tad larger DOF, but good picture.

My Opinion-I like your blue tint ....makes the whole shot interesting, softer with added drama. I think like my shot yours suffered from the first spindle. Mine also had the added problem of a sever angle......(I thought it was cool at the time :0|)I like the texture of the wood and the fact that the stairway seems to fade away. Nice touch.

This is very dramatic. I love the colours. The shallow DOF is a good touch, directing my gaze to the 2nd... um... strut? But I think the subject matter is a little dull for all this. If the stair rail had more texture or some other feature of interest it may have worked better.
