Might have been a quick pic for you but it was my only 10 this challenge! After returning to it a few times I bumped it up. Congrats on 4th (should have ribboned though). Oh, and if I remeber right you ended up the only "paint drying" shot.
Nice execution of this theme. Someone had to do it for this challenge and you pulled it off. Great use of negative space. Hmm, would that still be considered negative space, since it is pretty much the subject? The paint drying. Or is the painter the subject? Either way, I like it.
Simple but effective..I especially like the way you have positioned the person`s head as he appears to be looking at the title of the picture.
Nice work
ok this one is quite funny, with the title added in. Decent shot, creative and comical. However not extremely exciting. (but how exciting is watching paint dry?). Meets the challenge, and is creative.
Creative. This is as brilliant a use of massive white space as I have ever seen. It works well for me. Great job, and congratulations at taking a risk!
Great shot, nice use of negative space and the title ties it all together and makes it work. Only to nitpick though, and I know this is not for you to control but if it had been visible that he had been painting it would have been more effective. (9)
Nice and simple -- Great use of empty space it makes it look like he's in a HUGE warehouse or something. The shadows on him work well (the one from his hat and on his left arm) with the image and show a lighting that wouldn't place a shadow on the 'wall' infront of him whereas without those shadows, I'd be wondering where the shadow was.
Great work and your title pulls it all together to fit the challenge nicely. good job!
