I love the fairytale/storybook feel of this photo! The princess proudly and confidently walks in the forest unafraid of any creature she may encounter. Why? Because she will blast with her vuvuzela horn! The vuvuzela is a mean weapon;-) But for the blue challenge, there is very little blue here in a mostly forest of green. I wish we could see more of the blue vuvuzela - some of it gets lost in shadow. You could try a New Adjustment Layer Fill Light/Clarity to brighten the dark areas - illuminating more of the horn. The dress was another opportunity to go for a solid blue or more prominent blue - I am not quite sure if it is a pale blue or pale violet with all the white daisy print. That critique aside - I think you should pursue this idea and make it a short photo fairytale series to tell the story of the princess with her horn traveling to distant lands where danger sometimes lurks. |
