 Testing my new 100-400mm lens (200-800mm FF equivalent!) in a zoo setting in preparation for our upcoming Africa trip. Got me thinking... Will it really be worth the trouble and money to go across the globe if you can photograph all these beautiful animals right here in San Diego? Just kidding!

P.S. 6.17 and a blue ribbon?! What is going on here? Never in a million years I would expect that... so I am on the road out of country now and I need to submit my proof within 48 hours... geez, will have to figure out something ASAP ))
