Very festive. I agree with you that the green is a little out of place. The part I like the best is how each of the petals are highlighted. Nice work. Even though the texture goes with the picture, I would like to see it without it. That's a request, not a suggestion! So cheery.

This experiment turned out very well. Very nice. I think it would be good to stay more towards the brigher flowers here, though--the dark centered ones (shaded?) aren't as well suited for this; the other is almost too bright, but the mix of yellows and reds will work exquisitely.
