Well again I had a hard time choosing the photo to submit. With every challange it becomes harder and harder :). Well I hope you like it. In colour the shot has a bigger impact. There was almost no postprocessing done. I had a second shot I wanted to show you but well I need to work on it a bit more.
This picture dosn't have a message it's simply showing the marvel of nature. It was made hand held in difficult conditions ( a crowd was all around me )

I guess that's me that said it should be off center. Have it centered. What I was thinking of was the parts that show the earth thru them. To get rid of those, you would need to crop. They tend to bring more reality to the picture than is warranted.

It's a STARGATE and you're about to fall into it. It can't be off- center!
It's in front as a gate so that you can walk into it :)
The middle is also black intentionaly, like in a whirl- you can't
See the center untill you enter. The leading lines are pulling you right into the black unknown, well that was my intention.
Oh it's not back lit it's lit from above. It was reflecting light and it created a very interesting light show.

I like the odd lighting, how the light source is coming from underneath. My only criticism is that i wish the center wasn't as dark so you could see more of what it is.
