There is an interesting effect which must be due to the angle of the shot. The castle and its foothold are level, but the waterline looks like it slants up to the right. The cloud structure is excellent. I wonder what it would like like with a little added highlighting on the castle.
My husband and I were at Kylemore in September of 2017. They were doing some restoration work so the left side of the building was covered in scaffolding, perhaps in this photo as well? At any rate, the weather looks about the same as we had. Gorgeous place though, thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the tour. Great photo by the way!
