I love the head and the face, but there are nitpicky things that are getting to me a bit. The foreleg being cut off and the tones in the body being such a different color cast. For how great the head is, I think the rest pulls it down. I wonder if you would have been better off cropping this portrait and having the eye at the upper 1/3 cross section?
Love Beardies! They are so photgenic, and this one is posing wonderfully well. Nice sharpness and detail, especially on the eye. Wouldn't mind having his front feet included, but I know shooting animals can be a matter of split-second timing and you don't always get exactly what you want.
