This is the beautiful old Deering Library at Northwestern University. Has it really been 30 years since I used to study here? I liked the late afternoon light streaming through the giant windows. The majority of the students there on Saturday were staring into laptops, tablets and phones. However, this young man was going old school. From the open textbooks, I am guessing he's a Chemistry or Chemical Engineering major. I took a shot as he was busy writing. The Fuji is wonderfully silent, but, perhaps sensing it, he still glanced up. So, I smiled and took another.
