Thanks for all those who took the time to write a few words. Encouragement is appriciated. Especially during the first days when the scores dove nose down from a 6.something to around the 5.

Thank you, I had some hopes too. Should have known that "different" work scores average as the people who like it are middled out by those who hate it.. Oh well.. With my style of photography I don't see any ribbons going this way in the near future..;-) Glad you liked it..
Fun. I wish the reflective surface of the balls was better defined. This is one of the rare cases I like the border in a photo. Definitely feels like a wall mount.
Hmm. that's an interesting concept to the challenge. the only thing that bothers me is the huge (or maybe just far inward) border. Also, the reflection of the lights and the shadows cast by them I'm not too fond of. Perhaps if you'd move the light so it cast longer shadows (that still remained in the frame) and the reflection was on the other side of the balls, it would've been better. But you earn extra points for being creative. And simple.
Good composition, nice and simple. Great use of blank space -- and I absolutely love the framing (and I usually don't like borders too much), really good idea...great shot, great presentation!
