Thanks for the votes, guys! It's been a while since participating, I've been trying my hand at DIY at home, so photography has taken the back seat for a while.
But when finding out of the eclipse, of course I had to do something about it.
Jeff, it is Lisbon, that's quite an eye. More specifically, the monument Cristo Rei, which is identical (a tad smaller) than the one in Brazil.
Although it was just a partial eclipse (20% here) I knew I had to put something interesting in the frame.
I used my faithful app TPE to ballpark the location I had to be, then it was just a question of tweaking the actual place from where to shoot.

This is a very special image because it incorporates a very interesting iconic shape on the horizon... juxtaposed against the partial solar eclipse. I admire this very much and would have tried something similar if the sun hadn't been so high in the sky at my location. Great job!
