No, not his usual sartorial choice!!
He was given the socks in the ER. I was amused by them too, until after he was admitted and the nurse (nearly) wouldn't let him walk to the bathroom five feet away from his bed because the yellow socks indicated he was a "fall risk". Then I realized this was part of a rather clever system!
As someone who's been in and out of hospital a bit lately this one kind of made me laugh. For what it's worth - the stats all look ok on the screen to me!
