 Shoroan - Pine Ocean House...basically.

Burnt down in '94 by some punk kids this local tea house was rebuilt using traditional methods and when I say traditional methods I mean using no nails.

Thought about a closer crop, but doing so would take away from the shadows on the grass.

Unfortunately it has a snapshot quality to it, as if it was just grabbed and converted to grayscale with little effort put into it. Not very unique.

There isn't much interest here, just looks like a snapshot of someones house to me.

I'm having a hard time finding a natural focal point or primary subject to guide the viewer's eye through the shot.

This is a nice picture but nothing stands out to grab the attention of viewers. You have got good contrast, texture, shade, line and form all of the "requirements" -6-

A bit more contrast. Whites should be white, blacks should be black..
