 This is a macro shot through an old and slightly rusty Slinky on the top of a speaker. I just pointed, adjusted the focus as needed, and clicked. The only editing done was resizing.

A great idea, but the lighting and contrast aren't my favorite. Seems just a little dull.

This photo is too soft, and the colours are flat and unappealing, as it the composition. Try experimenting with different angles and lighting.

At least one of the rings should be in focus, If there is one. it's difficult to find. This photo, overall, has the appearance of lack of good focus.
