I just don't prefer to do staged, set-up shots of any kind. There are so many subjects of interest (to me) in nature, all year long, that I avoid photography indoors of the mundane. My experience at DPC is that any shot I take for a challenge like this is voted low. So, I shot my creative interpretation of this challenge. Osprey have kitchens, too! This makes sense to me, but obviously, most voters chose to punish something so "out of the box". The lack of tolerance at DPC by some is causing me to drift away. I once had the philosophy to enter every challenge to expand skill set and widen horizons. Now, the site has narrowed down and the some of the vocal and dominant personalities are being bullies. |
