build few months ago when I was revalidating and had plenty of time. completed for the challenge. I made everything from scratch. build the chairs, bedroom, window, walls, paintings, bedcover, etc...Very happy with the final result. shot with a spot light behind the window and reflectors to accentuate the shadows.
I'll post the building process after the challenge.
Hopefully it scores high.
La Chambre à coucher was Van Gogh's original name he gave to this painting. Better known under "Bedroom in Arles"

If this was up for a re-vote after knowing the details of your "labor of love" it would have scored much higher. Congratulations. I'm sorry I was out of town and was not able to vote.
The only clue that this is a miniature (because it's so magnificently crafted) is the "fuzz" on the chair seats. I wondered about that ... but still came up with "This is life-sized and those seat are weird." It's just that fabulously done!
Impressive diorama and adept photograph of it. Here is what I was referring to (actually there are several such recreations): //time.com/4215482/vincent-van-gogh-bedroom-airbnb/. For the record, I did not vote on your image. Congrats and speedy recovery.
Superb image, wonderful colours and lighting is spot on... don't tell me you made that all by hand, if you did that is an amazing effort which I commend highly. If I could give you more than 10 I would. This is undoubtably the blue ribbon, I will congratulate you now for taking top spot.
