I would qualify this May snow storm to be crummy weather. Mid May and we are getting heavy wet snow piling up over green grass I have already mowed a couple times.
This image was caught from my car. I guess you could call it poaching. I was just waiting for some activity and was rewarded. Wasn't dressed right to be out in this crummy storm.

This lens weighs nearly 4kg! WOW, and I complain about 1.5kg for my setup!
Hi Margaret, I don't handhold this lens. I have a full gimbal set up and a very sturdy tripod. But I do throw that set up over my shoulder and take short hikes with it.
