The critter blends in nicely with the bark of the tree, which is the point of him, I guess. He rewards a longer look, because he (slowly) becomes more and more resolved as you stare at him. He even moved a bit, after a minute or so. Not a 'stunning' wildlife picture, but we've seen plenty of those before. This is a bit different, although that's faint praise and both of us know it.
