The votes so far have surpassed my expectations! So I'll write a note, assuming it might get read ;)
In trying to capture the spirit of Deb's style, I noticed that in most cases, her subjects we unaware of her presence ... or at least unconcerned, as in the case of cats. I also got a feeling of quiet, peaceful (perhaps meditative) stillness. The sun is often casting dramatic shadows and there seems to be an emotive quality ...
All that and i happen to get a kick out of my cat at this door. Especially when he reaches up to touch the handle as if he can open it! =))
Walter would like to thank you for all the nice votes!
Mirø: Mirror / Melethia ... couldn't come up with a good name - - but it didn't seem to matter.
Honestly if you told me I would get 7+ with this image I would have seriously doubted it. Great comments and votes. THX!!!

Definitely my kind of shot! Cats, light and shadow, and the overhead view - all my cup of tea. This is very well seen and rendered! Oh, and also love all the patterns.
this rocks on so many levels
i am so drawn to the complex geometry of the rug, the lines from the window and its shadow, and the highlights on the whiskers...
