You found an interesting subject to shoot...you might try isolating just the mushroom by cropping more, as the leaves behind are a little distracting.

Good macro, though maybe a more shallow depth of field would help fuzz out the distracting background.

The colours don't add anything to this photo, as they're very flat. B&W would allow more focus on the textures which are much more interesting. Also, try bumping the contrast up in post processing.

This is not macro. Macro will present the object bigger in reproduction than in life. soft focus as well.
