Taken on a moving subway. I don't think that the people really noticed the first time I did this. Put the camera flat on it's back on the floor (I was seated) and pressed the shutter button. The shape at the top left corner is actually me trying to get out of the picture. I really liked it when I looked at the preview, but a few subsequent shots showed people leaning over to look at the camera, which wasn't the effect I was going for. Not quite sure if that guy's face is out of focus, or if it's motion blue. Had to crop some from either side to rotate it to being straight and to get the required dimensions. Adjusted levels and curves in PS LE, converted to greyscale, and adjusted levels and curves again. I think I might like to try it with very slight blue cast to emphasize the coldness, but haven't quite figured out how to do that yet.
An interesting idea, and well exposed. Better if the woman were holding the rail on the ceiling so we could have another face, but you take what you get.
This could have turned out to be a very perverted photo, but you used great judgement and it's AWESOME! It seems like the epitome of a kid's-eye view of the metro!
