Lech is in the same skiing area as the better known St Anton in the Austrian Alps. I took the photo from a gondola on a very high avalanche alert day. Luckily there was no serious avalanche except for the smaller ones triggered by the mountain staff.

Outstanding capture of the cornices formed by the winds. Wonderful detail and impressive control of exposure. (I might have let a small percentage of the blacks to go black.) Bumping this up.
