Funny, I wasn't bothered by the brown, dead field. Actually, I liked it and believe that it adds to the "minimalist" concept in the challenge. No need to make it "look good." Thanks for your thoughts and comment.

would have improved if the path actually started in the bottom left courner and the whole path width was visible.
