 Taken under an almost full moon at 9:38 on a partially overcast night.

No artificial lighting, just a 5-second exposure that yielded a daylight-like exposure. Purposefully underexposed to reflect something closer to the perceived light at the time.

There is no sky substitution, but I did make selective color, WB, and luminance adjustments to everything above the mountains.

Hello from the critique club

An appealing image that contributes well to the challenge

A lovely night exposure. The lovely soft moonlight gives the scene an ethereal atmosphere that is very appealing. I do think it could have been improved with a larger DOF to get the foreground cactus nicely defined too, I have to agree with your commenter it does rather detract rather than add to the end result. Alternatively, using the cactus as a strong focal point with a softer background would have worked better.

Easily a stop dark. Falls flat and the OOF plant in the front is more distracting than anything. Other than being dark the processing is nicely done.
