An interesting image that contributes to the challenge
A lovely glowing sunset and reflecting sea, as you say, a glorious sunset. Where I think this is not working quite so well as it could is in the softness throughout, particularly in the wet sand where those reflections could have been in stunningly sharp contrast to an acceptable softness in the sky and water. Given your shutter speed it must be down to the HDR merge differences in the reflections between the three images? I think also if the area of dry sand could have been excluded this could have added impact to the end result. It is a lovely image Janine but in a challenge of this nature you’re up against some tough competition. |
