An interesting high key shot. Not sure I'd choose it for a calendar but that won't affect my scoring at all. The focussing seems a bit off, that may be the high key effect or just the surface of the material, the lid of the back lefthand box and the ball in the open box for instance? The lighting is a bit harsh for my taste. The overall effect doesn't give any impression of texture in my opinion. Its a very nice idea which may have worked better with softer lighting and a duotone effect? Good work, a five from me.
Wonderful, nostalgic take for August vacation season!! One of my favorites and very unique. I see some "grain" which I think you kept/added intentionally and really makes the shot. If you didn't, then I'd say it was good that you didn't "remove" it.
