The great cliche of desert photography is a suguaro cactus silhouette.
In the image this suguaro stands guard, as it has thousands of times for at least 100 years, over a fabulous golden sunrise.
This image was taken just south of the Superstition Mountains near Phoenix, Arizona USA. Originally I wanted to include a sharp cliff to the left of this image, but the angle was not right.
I liked the stark horizon and sharp edges with the cactus at the highest point.

I might have darkened the sky a teeny bit to saturate the color more, but that's just my style for processing this type of shot. Can't really suggest any other improvement.
This certainly is a cliche shot! Of course, therefore, it is quite good. Well exposed. I think it would be interesting to crop this to a closeup of the top of the cactus only to the right border, it kind of looks like a man with a camera hanging around his neck. lol. nice job!
