Ok, time for a little back story here. I took this last April in Gruene Texas at the Gruene Hall. An old fashioned, wood floor, non air conditioned, music and foot stomping, throbbing hall. This particular couple danced all night...I took as many pictures as I could she just twirled n swayed all night long.
I really struggled for an appropriate title, I couldn't seem to find the right words to give the feeling of movement, shear joyof the moment and rhythm of the music. As soon as I saw these two pictures I knew I had my art entry...didn't even search for an alternative. I personally struggle with the definition of "art". But for me "this was the moment".

An appealing image that contributes well to the challenge
You know I'm a sucker for motion blur Janine and this is an excellent example that just shouts out vibrantly 'come dance with me'. I adore the crop and the way it places the emphasis on the gorgeous shape of her twirling dress. The mono processing is good and again the light shade of her dress against the predominant darker tones concentrates all your attention on her. I love it for its dynamic vibrancy it is so alive its beautiful, you sensed the 'moment' so well Janine. I'm really pleased to see so much positive reaction to your lovely image.
nobody puts baby in the corner! terrific fluidity, becoming just sharp enough where you need it to be. The dance of life, the dance IS life- well done.
