Too much of the bark is out of focus for me. If it was in context then I would assume the focal point is just what is in focus, but since it's on a dark background it makes it seem like everything is the subject, but some of it's out of focus, if that makes sense. Using the bark as art is a fantastic idea though, I'd love to see this idea expanded even more!

Very nice find. Of course I love the colors of the bark. It makes me wonder if it's from the Aspen. If it were mine, I may would have positioned the bark diagonally instead of straight across. This will do well. 7
