The glass takes away from the effect...I think I more delicate looking and smaller vase would have been a lot nicer. I like the purple effect a lot and the way the lighting falls on the flower.

Very nice. The mood you have set with your background is excellent. You have somehow managed to attain this warm softness to it. I find the flower a little overexposed. I long to see more detail to the petals. Maybe cropped a little closer as well. Excellent photo nonetheless.

woohoo. I like the indigo-ish color of this. Lighting is a bit harsh for those white petals. Also not the best choice of vases. It's still a strong, simple image for me. 7
