 Mule Deer buck on Deer Mountain. We are approaching the peak of the Muley rutting season. It's not hard to find many muleys all over the place... all day long. But, especially at dusk. 11/10/16 4:05pm. Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, Canon EF400mm f/4 DO IDS II USM, ISO 3200, 1/640s@f/4.5.

A shallower depth of field would have helped to isolate the subject from the background more, as would tighter framing.
