An appealing image that meets the challenge well

This is a very accomplished floral study that fully justifies its high score and placement, well done Janine. The colours are all very subtle meeting the challenge brief fully whilst the focus and DOF is absolutely perfect for those lovely crisp edges together with an inner softness that serves to emphasise the purple tinged petals really well. The composition is spot on, they don’t call them hotspots for nothing! It takes a really special floral image to get me excited, this excites me...
