I didn't really intend for this to be a blanket indictment of the pharmaceutical industry or prescription drugs. However, there is certainly a dark side to both. Like most things, there is the good with the bad. Are there miracle drugs that save lives? Yes. Are there times when we look for a pill to solve our problems when there are better, non-pharmaceutical solutions available? Yes.
