 Did try out a few different setups with my kids old Playmo toys, liked this the most. Used a reflector to try to even the light from the flash from behind, the camera on tripod and the highest aperture for focus through the whole picture. Haven't used my camera much for work like this so this is a test :)

An appealing image that meets the challenge.

A great idea Benedikt and well executed. Its a simple idea that gets its message over very effectively through the shear simplicity of it, I like it. Your composition and lighting are both good I can’t find much more to say about it really apart from I’m really not sure why it didn’t get a higher score but I suppose thats the way it goes sometimes here, anyway, thanks for a great entry
