Somebody in comments asked "seriously?" and the answer is yes, seriously. This isn't the first year I've planted tomatoes but it turns out that the growing conditions could not have been better and they obviously thrived. Ah well, I'm not too concerned. You'd be surprised how many pounds it takes to make a jar of good sauce!

Maybe let 'em ripen for great marinara sauce. Certainly committed to putting in the plants but (like so many of us) the commitment wears off when the harvest comes. 6
