This is the back yard of the queen of England when she travels to North Ireland.
Hillsborough Castle
Interesting fact: Whenever royalty visits here (The Queen and Philip were there six weeks before us), they always plant a tree. For hundreds of years.
Fun fact: They always plant it in the best possible place for photo shoot. Then, the gardeners transplant the tree.
*rolleyes*
If it's raining, they plant the tree in a container on their front stoop.
I'd hope it rained every time I stayed there if I were they.
BUT, BUT... BUT... Their casual garden is my favorite garden I've ever seen. It's borders flow into the walkways... it seems untended, but is artfully tended.
Kudos to the Queen's tenders. :D

Thanks for the fun facts, very interesting. I liked this one, not so much the paving though, just wonder if you thought cropping it out.... I did a quick crop on my iPad, you know just zooming in and it looked good, just saying ;)
Sharp focus is one of the first things that viewers notice. In this case, sharper focus would have made this a very good entry, but the colors reduce the sharpness by a large factor. A little more thought into this would have helped a lot.
