After a run up to Clouds Rest for the sunset, I conceived of an image of myself with the lake with the granite domes of the Yosemite high country framing the concept. Teh moon and clouds were spectacular, and the whole image came out similar to my mind's vision.

Quite lovingly captured, and fortuitously found, scenic effects usually failing in lessor hands. Somehow quite exceptionally calming (to me) in its solitude and glorious surroundings - unlike so many attempts with titles like "serenity" etc. I'm giving this a rare 10 because I can't imagine a better rendering of a similar scene.
Somebody should call the Sierra Club , alert them to all the wonderful photos in this challenge. It's truly amazing. What a beautiful planet we have to live on. Thanks for posting this shot.
