We don't usually venture into Provincetown during the summer, especially on a Saturday which is "change over day" for weekly rentals. However there was a fund raising event for an organization I support so off we went. We allowed loads of time for traffic delays and got there with 15 minutes to spare so we grabbed our cameras and went out shooting on the main drag before meeting up with our friends.
The timing was perfect. Based on the number of people striding down the main street, pulling their luggage behind them, I deduced that one of the ferries from Boston had just arrived at the wharf around the corner. I like how these new arrivals synchronized their strides. I was shooting from the hip and at the time didn't realize I'd captured Robert on the left, stepping into the scene. But I think it makes an interesting addition.

Perhaps this contains too many "realistic" elements for the voters to consider it abstract. I like to think of abstract challenges as an opportunity to capture and portray a feeling, idea, or concept. May be you have to have experienced what it's like to be in a town being inundated with hoards of new visitors every Saturday, all coming determined to have a good time, to understand the concept!
