I nearly entered this into this image into the 'mid year checkup' challenge, but thought it would be better in the FS!
Seen the Brooklyn bridge, (funny I achieved a yellow with that one too) now the golden gate. Two bridges that were on my bucket list, the third one is the "living bridge" living bridge, not sure if it will ever happen, but I can dream!
Thanks for the nice comments, and bling from George. Nice to win my 2nd ribbon in a FS in the first 6 months.
PS: it was almost as much fun watching the bodysurfer strutting his stuff as it was to be experiencing the chilly winds blowing through my hair! The mist was an added bonus....which I was hoping.

a pleasure to view; so unstereotypical, your very own take.
Funny you should say that as I thought twice about entering such a cliche shot, but I thought the editing would make it somehow different to others you may of seen on here. Appreciate your comment.
Congrats Anita! Looks like the fog actually did the cropping for you. I feel the message of the image is showing the scale difference between the surfer and the immense size of the bridge itself and having the very tops of the bridge not in the image creates an even more intense feel to it.

Gorgeous picture, that misty feeling, the wave coming toward the viewer. I smell the blue ribbon coming to you.
A big 10 from me and my Blue Dragon Award
