Huge thanks to my hubby for taking me out to the forest at night so we could get chewed on by bugs while we painted with light!
I painted the path, and he painted the trees. We really need to try it again now that we've learned something. There should have been more light, and the leaves should have been lit more back into the path.
There were also dreams of adding fireflies to it, but I didn't have the necessary ingredients. (Looks like christmas lights are the way to go for that).

I'm trying to imagine doing a "paint with light" for a minimal editing shot and trying to figure out the length of exposure and time to spend "painting" each part. That's pretty impressive.
