I actually thought this shot was rather cool -- but probably because I hadn't tried it before. One of the big problems I had was that the reflection ended up being a warm color. I still can't really figure out color changing on photoshop -- I really need some lessons on that, someday. :)
Here's the original out of camera shot. I like it much better, actually -- other than the fact that it was really tilted. :O
It was done by cutting open glow sticks and dumping the contents into the bottle, and shaking it back and forth.
Healing stuff: skip this part, it's pretty repetitive.
By the way, don't use a broken arm to shake. That's really not a good idea!
Still on tripod. Still healing. This shot took way too long and I ended up feeling quite ill. So I waited for about 45 minutes before I could do a bit of editing.
Progress was made, though. Ribs weren't as bothered from bending over (table top shot, you know). But I think that's what did me in eventually.
Working on the computer didn't hurt nearly as much.
The biggest problem was that the glow stick glow faded REALLY fast. So you should probably have more than two glow sticks when you're trying this type of shot. I did have a bunch more pink and yellow ones, but did I mention that I can't seem to change colors effectively on photoshop? :)
Thanks for the comments!
