So I don't keep a diary, so I'm putting notes on the healing in with the photos here. Over the years, my photos have been the place where memories sit. So ignore this part if you'd like -- I keep getting told that it's going to be a long process.
So I was so glad that this challenge followed the goofy faces challenge. I was extremely sore, and just wasn't up to shooting any more photos. But I had the initial goofy faces shots from before Jeff decided to go Amish! What a perfect base from which to work!! So I lucked out.
I started by searching for "liquify face photoshop tutorial", and started looking at the images. I came across some really fun caricatures. So I looked up caricature tutorials. I wish I would have kept the links, but I used a combination of a couple of tutorials. It was a hoot to play with! I kept laughing as I worked.
Huge thanks to my understanding husband. He's been picked on a little more than normal for photos since I'm stuck at home. What a great sport.
Thanks for the comments! Here was my other choice:

Looks like this is the end of the wild streak. The other challenges are back in the 5s. It was great fun while it lasted!

LOL! You've got an entry on three out of four lines of the front page right now. Getting run over by a car didn't seem to steal your mojo! :-) Love the kitty cat shot, by the way.
Everything about this is good - lighting, rule of thirds, black on black shirt.
It stands as a really good portrait. And then you made it meet the challenge exceptionally well.
Had to come back and bump it up.
