My daughters seem to have a gift for the camera when the time is right. I used a nice new diffusor for my speedlight. We were on the front porch - these glasses we had picked up from a yard sale. Here hair was fresh out of the shower and I though she kinda had an old-man sorta vibe to her.
As for editing: loaded into LR, cropped and adjusted contrast. Opened in PS; tamed down the reflection in the upper left by cloning some skin from other part of the face - played with opacity until it looked ok. Duplicated the brick pattern and warped to fit in bottom left when the window sill was distracting. Some cloning of dust on the glasses, reflections in the eye and a few other areas.
When I looked at the result, I told me daughter this image would get a ribbon. Hope I was right :)

This is very nice and fits the theme completely, the exposure the focus and the composition are all very well done. I think this should do well in this contest for sure.
