So... after the fine arts challenge, I realized that I couldn't really hold the camera yet. So I needed to mount the camera on a tripod and not lean over, bend, readjust... that was a really bad idea (as seen by the fine arts challenge)
So I looked through ideas and realized that painting with light was my best option.
It was a lot harder than I thought! First, the light beam was too intense. So I covered the small flashlight with a kleenex. It was a bit better, but still not soft enough. So I poofed out the kleenex away from the flashlight and that was better.
But then I couldn't really see what the beam was illuminating! I kept having light pour out of the side of the bottle and completely miss the glass. I finally got that to something decent, and then had to deal with the glass and bottle not showing enough. So I did a 15 second exposure, used 10 seconds to paint the light flow and then 5 seconds to simply pan over the glass and bottle so they would show more.
Since I'm still working with one arm, I couldn't figure out how to hold the bottle. (Plus, I wouldn't have been able to hold it steady for as long as I needed), so I put the bottle in a plastic bowl so it could lean by itself. That's why part of the bottle is missing.
Thanks for the comments!

Great to see you are able to enter again. If that is what you are able to do with one arm, I can't wait to see what you can do with two arms:) Congrats!!
Cool light drawing. Like that only part of the bottle is illuminated. I'd hang this up on my wall. It's be a cool photo in a wine bar. One of my top picks.
